Privacy Policy

How Bitlogia Institute of Technology collects, uses, and protects the information you share when you enquire, register for a workshop, or apply to a program.

1. Who BIT is

Bitlogia Institute of Technology ("BIT", "we", "us") is an applied AI and technology institute based in Faisalabad, Pakistan, offering professional programs, workshops, and masterclasses on campus and live online. This policy applies to information collected through the BIT website, admission forms, workshop registrations, and admissions communication.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with BIT, we may collect:

  • Name
  • WhatsApp number
  • Email address
  • City
  • Current role
  • Education or professional background
  • Learning goals
  • Preferred learning format
  • Program interest
  • Application and enquiry history
  • Marketing-source information, such as UTM parameters and the page a form was submitted from

BIT does not ask for CNIC numbers, complete residential addresses, or documents at the enquiry or application stage.

3. Information submitted through forms

When you submit a program application, admissions counselling request, workshop registration, or workshop-updates form, the information you enter is sent to BIT Admissions together with the program or workshop it relates to and the campaign or page it came from. Some forms save a draft of what you type in your own browser so you do not lose your answers; that draft stays on your device and is cleared when your submission succeeds.

4. How BIT uses information

  • Reviewing applications and confirming program availability
  • Responding to counselling and enquiry requests
  • Confirming and managing workshop registrations
  • Sending admission decisions, seat-reservation details, and schedule information
  • Sharing relevant program updates when you have asked for them
  • Understanding which pages and campaigns bring applicants, so we can improve them

BIT does not sell personal details to advertisers or unrelated third parties.

5. Email and WhatsApp communication

BIT primarily communicates by email and WhatsApp. When you provide a WhatsApp number on a form, you agree that BIT may contact you on that number about your application, registration, or enquiry. Marketing messages are separate: you will receive program updates only when you have requested them, and every update includes a clear way to stop receiving further messages.

6. CRM and service providers

BIT stores contact and admissions information in a customer relationship management (CRM) system and uses service providers for email delivery, WhatsApp messaging, form processing, and website hosting. These providers process information only to deliver their service to BIT and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

7. Analytics and cookies

The BIT website uses analytics to understand page visits, form completions, and campaign performance. Analytics events are configured not to include your name, phone number, or email. Marketing-source parameters such as UTM tags are recorded with your enquiry so Admissions knows how you found BIT. Cookies and similar technologies are used to keep forms working, remember drafts, and measure aggregate site usage.

8. How long information is retained

Application and enrolment records are kept for as long as needed to manage your admission, enrolment, and certification, and afterwards for record-keeping required for institutional and legal purposes. Enquiry and workshop records that do not lead to enrolment are retained for a limited period and then removed or anonymised.

9. Security measures

BIT restricts access to personal information to staff who need it for admissions and program delivery, uses access-controlled systems for storage, and transmits form submissions over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information you share.

10. Your rights

You may ask BIT to:

  • Show you the information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
  • Delete your information where we have no continuing need to keep it
  • Stop sending you marketing updates at any time

To make a request, contact BIT with a privacy or data request, or use the details in section 13.

11. Children's information

BIT programs and workshops are intended for students, graduates, and professionals. Where an applicant is under 18, BIT may ask that a parent or guardian be involved in admission and payment decisions. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

12. Changes to this policy

BIT may update this policy as programs, tools, or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.

13. Contact information

Questions about this policy or your information can be sent through Contact BIT, by call or WhatsApp on 0310 1751427, or in person at the Faisalabad campus. See also the Admissions Terms and the Refund and Transfer Policy.
